Power Plant - Startup Services

KEMWorks is providing startup services for a power plant being constructed for Duke Energy International in Guatemala.The plant will produce 150 MW using Orimulsion fuel or 160 MW using Heavy Fuel Oil. The plant is driven by 10 turbocharged, Miller-timed, Wartsila 18V46 engines. The plant is equipped with a Flue Gas Desulfurisation (FGD) system and Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) which treat the exhaust gases from the engines to meet emission requirements.
