FM 200 Production Facility - Project Management Services

Great Lakes Chemical Corporation awarded KEMWorks Technology, Inc. a contract for the Project Management for their new FM 200 Production facility in El Dorado, Arkansas. KEMWorks also supplied the basic engineering design for the waste HCl Neutralization and Disposal System.  Also included in the project was a preliminary design by KEMWorks Technology, Inc. for the neutralization and deep well disposal of the waste HCl from the process.

The new facility expansion at Great Lakes Chemical Corporation in El Dorado uses proprietary technology developed by GLCC.  This technology significantly reduces the cost of product and provides GLCC with a larger share of the global FM 200 market.  KEMWorks Technology, Inc. provided assistance in the selection and management of the engineering company through preliminary design when the project was placed on hold for financial reasons. The preliminary engineering design was completed in just 15 months on a very fast track basis.

KEMWorks Technology, Inc. engineers worked as an integral part of the GLCC project team providing management of the engineering contractor and their deliverables.
