KEMWorks’ goal is that our workplaces will be injury-free. Our policy is to provide a work environment that promotes the health and safety of our employees, contractors, visitors and the local community.
To achieve this goal, we are committed to the following:
- Providing a safe work environment to prevent injury and illness, and managing our operations to measure and continually improve health and safety management and performance.
- Complying with all laws and regulations governing occupational health and safety and meeting the commitments of the voluntary occupational health and safety programs in which we participate.
- Holding managers and supervisors responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance to KEMWorks’ health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements in their work areas.
- Requiring all employees to follow KEMWorks’ health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements, and require that contractors and visitors to our offices and laboratories adhere to the applicable procedures and requirements.
- Periodically communicating company progress to stakeholders.
